EMBRACE CHANGE AND TAKE IT HEAD ON
At the end of October I went in the Ultra Trail Australia 22 km race in the Blue Mountains.
Last year this event was fantastic with lots of challenging steps actually 10,000+ stairs to be exact, many hills, many descends and lots of tight single track running.
This was a challenging race.
However this year due to all the rain the track was very different as many trails were closed.
With lot's of road runnnig replacing the trails my body and mind were not used to this or knew the best approach to still remain competitive.
Today I want to talk to you about your ability to adapt to changes.
Changes are always going to happen,
it is how we react to them!
There always is going be changes in life, in your body and your back, in your fitness and your strength.
But the key is to keep your eyes on the prize, keep focused on your goal as we sail through these changes we can continue to make progress and ultimately fix our back.
We will have have changes in environments. we can have changes in situations, maybe some new kids come along or a new puppy which is happening to me very soon ha ha ha.
We need to be aware of these changes and we need to take them head on knowing that we are still going to be able to achieve our goals if we keep our focus and we keep our plan in tact.
So be sure to have a plan so that you don’t see yourself up for failure or just stuffing around wasting time trying to figure it all out on your own.
